Dewey International University students studying Philosophy and Society with lecturer Thay Sovannpitou visited Peam Ta Primary School to distribute stationery items to 97 students. The school is located at Outreng village, Tatouk commune, Samlot district, Battambang province.
This remote area, at the far south end of Samlot District, is one of the most beautiful spots in Cambodia, in the midst of mountains, forests, and rivers. The primary school is very disadvantaged, located in a poor area with little access to markets. The DIU students were highly pleased with their results.
Special thanks to the students of Dewey International School and Dewey International University for their donations to help our rural young students.
