Trade Fulfilment Professors

Trade Fulfilment Professors between Dewey International University and ‘Atenisi University, Tonga.

Since November 2018 to January 2019, Professor Michael Horowitz, Atenisi’s university dean in Tonga, had a three-month appointment as visiting professor at Dewey International University (DIU), western Cambodia. He taught Bachelor Degree students (undergraduate) in Philosophy and Society and Master Degree students (post-graduate) in Research Methodology. His presence was to complete a trade fulfillment with Professor Raymond Zepp, the President of DIU, who previously served as visiting professor of Logic and Mathematics at ‘Atenisi during autumn semester 2018.

Although there’s no Christmas break in our country, DIU granted Horowitz a week-long leave to enable him to tour the ancient city of Angkor Wat – the temples – a three-hour drive from DIU. The dean will be able to bring back to ‘Atenisi, as well as Tonga, an illustrated history of our most striking temples, so ‘Atenisi students can vicariously experience the intensity of Angkor Wat.
